On Tuesday, July 18, we had the first BRG Day here at Dayton WHQ. Our exhibit area was held at lunchtime in the cafeteria, with four of the BRGs participating: Alliance, 4A, WIN, and (of course) League. Each BRG had a table where they could place with an exhibit and information about that BRG to make everyone at WHQ aware of our existence (and maybe pick up a few new members).

Overall, the event went rather well. Several folks stopped by and expressed an interest in League, including several contractors. Hopefully we will hear back from some of them in the near future. We may be making this an annual event as a prelude to the BRG Picnic in August.

I am glad Jackie sent a “Global Diversity Awareness” banner back with me from Atlanta to use! It was a big help in attracting folks to our exhibit area. (Thanks, Jackie!) We also had a “Diversity mirror” to use (it says “Diversity… is it a reflection of you?” across the top in 1-3/8” high rainbow letters) courtesy of Pam Beattie that was also quite a hit. I also want to thank Tom Volpe for helping me staff the booth.
