The Columbus HRC Gala Dinner was held Saturday June 10th in Columbus and was attended by over 650 people in the Central Ohio area.  HRC (Human Rights Campaign) conducts over 50 of these dinners throughout the US each year and the Columbus dinner is the closest one to our Dayton WHQ.  Several Ohio companies were mentioned as illustrating corporate leadership in their hiring policies and for taking a stand on key issues of LGBT importance and NCR Corporation was recognized as one of these companies, and was thanked for its role in taking a public stand on Ohio House Bill 272, the "Defense of Marriage Act" which ended up passing and was signed into law.  NCR Corporation took an opposing stand on this bill in the winter of 2004.  Nationwide Insurance, Limited Brands, and Procter and Gamble were also mentioned as leaders in LGBT Equality (all three are also Teradata clients).
